Busy,busy, busy. That's probably the most normal thing in one's work life, and home life or probably in life, period.
It was so fortunate (and in a speed of light) that we decided to go out for lunch. In an hour's time we met and began to exchange updates on how things are going in our turfs, especially at work.
On the sides, of course, we shared some delicious Filipino cuisine in a restaurant here in the South.
We tried the sinigang, the caldereta and my favorite sizzling bangus belly, Filipino beefsteak style. Dessert, fruit and milk shakes, hot brewed coffee, hot chocolate drink, these are available after a superb meal.
Filipinos love to get together and eat while chit-chatting away all sort of stories that are funny, entertaining, weird and unique. Added to these are the personal dramas at home and at the office, heheh. Still it was great to be with people whom you can just throw in all kinds of narrative life events, private jokes, life concerns and plans.
So, while, it is a fact of life to live in a busy atmosphere, have time and space for people. Keep your friends, they are treasures, and eat good food at the sides.
