Booking Accommodation

Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is the largest city of Southeast Asia. It has a year-long sunny climate and a rich culture. Kuala Lumpur makes an attractive destination for countless of tourists all over the world. (Kuala Lumpur Tourist Attractions, Genting Highlands, Safari Trips, Malacca City, Batu Caves, A' Famosa, Melaka)

KL, however, is more of a business spot than a tourist spot for a friend of mine. For the many times she has been there, she has not gone around to appreciate its majesty (possibly, just some visit to the shopping malls, of course. She is a "she" remember).

I just have to write something about her. She was the one who helped me with my trip to Malaysia, assisting me in the booking and accommodation.

She is a young executive, with a pair of smiling eyes, a fair-skinned chinita, as others would describe her. She's been traveling Asia because of her work. She spends more time in Malaysia, even as compared to her stay in the Philippines, nowadays. She was lightly joking that she might as well be relocated there with the family, just so she could spend more time with the kids and dear husband.

How does she fit in my life's jigsaw puzzle? She is a spark in my life. What? Come again? Well, she comes to my life unannounced, just popping with good and bad news, with problems and solutions. She adds not only color, but graphics in my life. Together, we breathe creativity and entropy (hopefully in a good way) and we thank God for that.

Spark! I looked it up in Wiki for definitions.
In fiction:
  • Spark (comics) or Lightning Lass, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes
  • Spark (transformer), the soul of a Transformer
  • Spark (in Girl Genius), the mad scientist with supernatural abilities
Funny, she might as well be the above fiction characters, hahah. Hope it's okay Olive.

To describe her personality, again based on the word spark:
  • a small particle of glowing matter
  • a short burst of electrical discharge
  • a ship's radio operator
But the best one I found most appropriate for her goes . . .
"a small amount of something, such as an idea, that has the potential to become something greater . . . just as a spark can start a fire."

Friends Reunited Dating AMDers

Faces, familiar faces, though they have changed in some way, but surely you can't miss out the glow on those faces. Wow, awesome!

Some of these guys have not seen each other since 1999, so that's about 10 years and a little more.

These former employees of AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) look so happy, not only seeing each other but actually being together, exchanging updates on how life has been treating them. Lots of stories to tell, more on the good old days rather that the current. Chit chat went on the whole night at Manong's in Alabang. Time went swiftly.

Has it been that long? How intriguing that you can vividly remember those days when we were in the manufacturing plants in Sucat, Paranaque. The atmosphere and the feelings that went with the moments were reminisced.

Life surely cannot be explained a hundred percent.

The men changed more in a way, the hair is of a different color, some salt-and-pepper and still some wearing it with a darker tint, no problem , they all look great!

The women still smells fresh I would say, with those smiles that say more than what you see. Being mothers, wives, home makers plus in-law, relative and even pet carers. No problem, the female specie is built to last, hahah.

To all the guys who were part of this reunion, more to come hopefully and take care!

From Del and Jun R., one of the busy person during the get-together party:
Thank you so much for the unexplained happiness we felt that night. We appreciate your effort to once more re-connect with each of us. May our Lord bless us more, protect and guide us so that there will be more reunions to be organized. I love you all ! See you ...

Peaceful Children, Learn from Kids

We need not fight when we hurt each other. I just love this video (it has about 122 million views, the kids were even featured on television for an interview, after nearly a year when the clip was released).

Let's be patient with each other's shortcoming.
