Always Busy

Busy,busy, busy. That's probably the most normal thing in one's work life, and home life or probably in life, period.

It was so fortunate (and in a speed of light) that we decided to go out for lunch. In an hour's time we met and began to exchange updates on how things are going in our turfs, especially at work.

On the sides, of course, we shared some delicious Filipino cuisine in a restaurant here in the South.

We tried the sinigang, the caldereta and my favorite sizzling bangus belly, Filipino beefsteak style. Dessert, fruit and milk shakes, hot brewed coffee, hot chocolate drink, these are available after a superb meal.















Filipinos love to get together and eat while chit-chatting away all sort of stories that are funny, entertaining, weird and unique. Added to these are the personal dramas at home and at the office, heheh. Still it was great to be with people whom you can just throw in all kinds of narrative life events, private jokes, life concerns and plans.

So, while, it is a fact of life to live in a busy atmosphere, have time and space for people. Keep your friends, they are treasures, and eat good food at the sides.

How Time Flies

I visited my former employer. I retired like ages ago and suddenly, I found myself dropping by at the company that has been my second home for years.

This multinational company is one that I've learned to love. I spent hours and hours, nights and days (at times with zero sleep), working. At times seems like it really isn't work 'coz it's fun and at other times, the situations are like hell, but I survived. With the hot and cold scenarios, I've discovered patience, hard-work, endurance, confidence, accomplishment, failure and Fun (with a capital F. I also found friends, very good Friends (also with a capital F).

My co-workers have changed in some ways. For some of them . . . more body bags while for some . . . more silver hairs. Others, I've been told, went to Canada or the US, some have transferred to another semiconductor company or simple resigned and have taken another career track. Though, a bigger number just stayed on with such loyalty.

So what's unusual? Nothing much I guess. It's just that time does fly so fast.

Find a Best Friend

Find a best friend but you need not have to like him or her all of the time. We don't agree with our friends all of the time but we try to understand each other. That's what friends are for. Let's hear it from the mouth of babes . . .

One, Two . . . Pose

Good exercise, yup, not just those "one, two dance steps" . . . but more so the "one, two, three pose".

Wondergirls, they're back! Nobody, nobody but them, so hot.

After doing all the management work at home, they're off for some exercise. No, not mere dancing, but that "plus" activity of photo shoots, hahah.

It's good to keep a circle of friends who make the effort to tug you so hard you have to go, even if you feel a little heavy or plain lazy to move your feet (or at times your whole body).

In addition, we do not to overlook the fact that every after an event, comes the FB posting of photos with trickles of entertaining comments after a series of "you've been tagged on this photo, this photo and this photo".
